The Lumber Branch leaves the Double Diamond Railroad mainline and proceeds up a steep incline to a bustling industrial area. There, various lumber related industries and other support industries are served by the Railroad. The three main customers are Spangler Paper Products, Rigby Pole Company, and W. Johnson Lumber Company. Because of the amount of traffic generated on this Branch, it is serviced by two separate Locals, one in the morning and another in the evening.
